Matterport Tour
In July 2015 Jon Kirkpatrick purchased a Matterport camera and became one of the first in the region to become a Matterport Service Partner using this exciting technology to help his clients. He had quickly realized Matterport's capabilities as a marketing tool and what the recent proliferation of affordable Virtual Reality (VR) headsets and use of 3d scanning could mean for the future.
With Matterport you'll be able to view the property almost just like if you were actually there. You can meander down hallways, wander into rooms, and look closely at features that are important to you. Simply drag the mouse or swipe the screen to look at different areas. Click, tap, or use the arrow keys to move to another area of the home. If you don't feel like going through it and prefer to sit back and watch a video tour, then simply hit the play button and Matterport will take you through a guided tour of the property.
Besides being able to maneuver within the 3d model of the home, this technology allows you to view the home as a floor plan or as a doll house view which is an exposed 3d model of the home. These views allow you to quickly understand the scale, orientation, and layout of the house and its rooms.
You can even use the link provided using Google Cardboard or Samsung Gear virtual reality (VR) headsets for a truly immersive virtual reality experience.
